Gabe Okins resides in Fargo, ND along the divide in the Central and Mississippi flyways. This allows for great migration action with great pushes from Canada bringing successful falls each year. Although being from Minnesota “The Rut” is also a big factor in his fall schedule chasing monster bucks down on the riverbottom back home. His favorite hunting is when it gets bitter cold, everything starts to freeze, and the snow is flying. Gabe feels this is the best time to capitalize on big flocks of migrators as they venture south. It may be a lot of work but the rewards are high!
